CONTEMPORARY ART IN IKOYI, LAGOS

Ògíríkán Art Gallery is a boutique gallery at 38b Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi. Started in 2017 by artist and curator A. Tahouf, we share work we love — from emerging artists to those with longer journeys.

Ògíríkán Art Gallery is a contemporary art space in the heart of Lagos, at 38b Raymond Njoku St, Ikoyi. Established in 2017, we are built on a simple belief: great art should be accessible, without compromise on quality.

We show affordable works by emerging and mid-career Nigerian artists, with a focus on African voices whose practices navigate memory, identity, heritage and transformation. Our program spans figurative, abstract, conceptual and digital practices. Every painting and sculpture in our space is handpicked — not just for how it looks, but for the conversation it starts.

We believe art does more than decorate a wall. It documents social realities, preserves culture, and invites personal reflection. For that reason, Ògíríkán exists as a platform. We give artists room to share their unique perspectives, and we give collectors — first-time and seasoned — room to find works that truly resonate.

Beyond exhibitions, we offer services that support collectors and artists alike, including art advisory, custom framing, minor restoration and collection management for private, corporate and hospitality clients. This is why many first-time clients find us.

We are also the home of the Miniature Art Fair Lagos, the first of its kind in Nigeria. What began as an experiment in accessibility is now an annual event, presenting over 1,000 works in a single experience. The fair embodies our core mission: to make collecting open to everyone and to foster an inclusive art community.

Ògíríkán is intentionally welcoming and child-friendly. We love seeing families, young art lovers, and next-generation collectors walk through our doors.

Whether you are starting your first collection or need framing and restoration you can trust, you are welcome here. Welcome to Ògíríkán Art Gallery. Where art finds its true and lasting expression.
